Does the Digital Economy Increased Economic Resilience?Based on Research Mediating Effects and Spatial Spillover

  • Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2012 to 2022, the entropy method is used to scale the development level and economic resilience of the digital economy, and the fixed model, mediating effect model and the spatial Durbin model are constructed to empirically analyze the path of the digital economy affecting economic resilience. It is concluded that digital economy can improve economic resilience, and there is a mediating effect, and innovation ability plays a mediating role in the process. Under the three weight matrices, the digital economy has a positive spatial spillover effect on economic resilience. Therefore, it is necessary to promote the high-quality development of the digital economy, improve economic resilience, attach importance to innovative talents, promote the innovative development of the digital economy, build a regional coordinated development network, and release the spatial dividends of the digital economy.
