The semiconductor industry is a strategic, fundamental, and pioneering sector that underpins the development of modern information society, urgently requiring a group of semiconductor “chip talents” with innovative spirit, entrepreneurial awareness, and engineering practice capabilities. The Microelectronics Science and Engineering program at Anhui University of Technology has implemented an innovative pathway for cultivating semiconductor “chip talents” from three dimensions: ideological and political education, industry-education collaboration, and the integration of specialized and innovative education, effectively enhancing students’ innovation and engineering practice capabilities.
