Introducing research hotspots and cutting-edge technologies in the environmental field into the teaching of Environmental Science Fundamentals not only enhances the course’s progressiveness, frontier nature, and exploratory aspect, achieving research-driven learning, but also strengthens students’ understanding and memorization of key concepts. Through group presentations in the flipped classroom, students develop collaboration awareness, skills in information retrieval and summarization, and expressive abilities.
