Abstract
In the context of the construction of new engineering disciplines, higher requirements are placed on engineering talents. Currently, the course of Mechanical Principles faces issues such as insufficient student motivation, single teaching mode, lack of frontier knowledge guidance, and a single course evaluation system. By modular teaching design, three-stage hybrid teaching design, frontier-leading inspiration teaching method, multi-dimensional evaluation method, and the construction of an ideological and political case library with the characteristics of Mechanical Principle course, students’ learning interest, learning effect and innovation ability can be effectively improved.
