Research on Teaching Reform of Artificial Intelligence Technology Course for Automation Major

  • In recent years, to meet the industry demands driven by the rapid development of artificial intelligence, many engineering disciplines, represented by automation, have integrated the “Artificial Intelligence Technology” course into their teaching systems. This paper addresses common issues in the current teaching of the “Artificial Intelligence Technology” course in automation programs, such as outdated course content, monotonous teaching methods, weak practical components, and imperfect evaluation systems. From the four dimensions of teaching content, teaching methods, industry-academia collaboration, and evaluation systems, this paper explores innovative ideas for teaching reform, aiming to enhance the quality of course instruction and cultivate versatile talents equipped with both artificial intelligence development and automation engineering practice capabilities.
