Improving College Students' Concentration: The Role of Functional Exercise Training

  • Objective: to investigate the effect of functional-based exercise training on college students’ concentration ability. Method: a controlled experiment design was used, with participants randomly assigned to an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received functional exercise training, while the control group received conventional instruction. Focus levels of college students in both groups were evaluated before and after the training. The results showed that compared with regular instruction, functional-based exercise training significantly improved the concentration levels of college students. Conclusion: functional-based exercise training can better promote the integration and processing of sensory information in the brain of college students, enhancing their concentration and cognitive abilities. University teachers should integrate functional training into daily teaching to promote the all-round development of college students.
