Abstract
With the deepening of the construction of new engineering, the employment ability of college students has become the focus of the cultivation of new engineering talents. Facing the new requirements of new engineering construction, it is of great practical significance for colleges and universities to carry out research on the path of improving college students’ employability. This paper analyzes the restrictive factors existing in the cultivation of college students’ employability from the perspective of new engineering, and discusses the practical path of improving college students’ employability from six aspects: ideological and political education, career planning, subject competition, teaching reform, digital empowerment and collaborative education of government, school, enterprise and industry. It aims to promote the reform of talent training mode and provide reference ideas for the cultivation of new engineering talents.
