Eagleton's Interpretation of the "Aesthetics of Evil" from Literary Perspective

Evil usually appears in the hermeneutic dimension of ethics, but Eagleton, from logical standpoint of deism, incorporates the category of evil into the narrative territory, creatively interpreting evil and the aesthetics of evil from literary perspective. Eagleton defines the essence of evil as monotony and boredom, and the technique of “repetition” as the manifestation of evil in literary narrative, that is, it presents a unique aesthetic effect, and with its infinity, it forms an organic rhythm of desire, thus obtaining a basic aesthetic approach at the literary level.
