Artistic Features of Book Decoration in Republic Period of China

On one hand, designers of book decoration dared to absorb and draw lessons from the foreign culture in Republic period of China. On the other hand they also inherited excellent cultural tradition of the nation, and corresponded to the exchange and collision of East and West cultures under the overall historical environment so that the unique artistic features of Chinese book decoration were shaped which were still of great enlightenment significance for the design of modern book decoration.
