A Study of Amplification in Consecutive Interpreting
Three forms of amplification-explicitness, deverbalization and addition serve as an approach for interpreters to work beyond languages themselves and manage core messages in their expression. This unlimited strategic choice can help target languages' pragmatic meaning become closer to that of source languages.
