Abstract
English course of international academic exchanges aims to improve postgraduates' competence in academic communications. In teaching part of academic lectures, academic English teaching based on analysis of metadiscourse can be adopted to enrich applied knowledge of metadiscourse, develop students' awareness of metadiscourse and improve effectiveness of academic English teaching.
