Grammar Teaching for English Majors from the Perspective of Constructivism

  • According to theory of constructivism, grammar teaching design for English majors includes three steps: interest raising, objectives setting and knowledge building. Learners need to learn how to combine prior knowledge to find and summarize English grammatical items and use them in similar situations in the process of learning to deepen, excel and enrich their prior knowledge.
