Research on the Development of Mutual Listening Test System in College English

The mutual English listening test is beneficial to the stronger interaction bewteen testee and testing task. On the basis of item response theory, the establishment of mutual listening test system, through the steps from the material selection for listening test, test item design, test development, quality evaluation, analysis and improvement related to the low quality of test items, question bank construction and paper generating design, can be considered as the improvement on the evaluation deficiency that is focused on the present evaluation on the listening as a single skill instead of that on the listening as the means of communication.
