Impacts of Proactive Personality and Cultural Distance on Creativity in Cross-cultural Settings

摘要: 基于个人-环境匹配理论，实证检验了在跨文化情境下前摄性人格与个人创新能力的内在关联机制。研究结果发现，前摄性人格能有效提升个人创新能力的发展，自我效能感部分中介前摄性人格与个人创新能力的关系。作为边界条件，文化距离负向调节前摄性人格和自我效能的关系。

Abstract: Abstract:Based on Person-environment Fit theory, this empirical research testifies the correlations between proactive personality and individual creativity and the underlying mechanism. Results indicate that proactive personality contributes to the development of individual creativity through the mediating role of self-efficacy. As a boundary condition, cultural distance negatively moderates the relationship between proactive personality and self-efficacy.
