Abstract: The function of cookers has been continuously improved by the development of building technology in Qin and Han dynasties, the application of new technology and new materials, the change of cooking stove matching with cookers. The type of cookers is basically fixed, it has shown a very high level in the design of shape structure, heat utilization, smoke-discharging facilities and decorative pattern printing, and it not only inherited the advantages of the pre-Qin cookers but also laid a solid foundation of the shape of cookers in Sui, Tang, Ming and Qing dynasties.
