Abstract: College students' social practice is an effective extension of the course of Ideological and Political Theory in colleges and universities. It is necessary to give prominence to the dominant position of students, giving full play of students; to bring into play the guiding role of teachers in ideological and political theory to enhance the effectiveness of education; and to carry out various forms of practical teaching so as to enhance students' participation. Through the effective combination of social practice and ideological and political theory classes, students' social responsibility, innovative spirit and practical ability have been promoted to enhance their comprehensive ability.
