Abstract: Housing architecture and urban planning course is an essential basic course of engineering management major. We stimulated students' learning initiative and improve teaching effect by advancing with times and reforming teaching contents, increasing interaction, conducting participating teaching, laying emphasis on curriculum design, improving students' ability of comprehensive use of knowledge, applying a combination of various teaching methods and reforming the examination pattern.
