Abstract: The implementation of subject competition is possible to improve students' innovative ability. Colleges and universities should take subject competition as a carrier to improve subject competition incentive and security mechanism, and fully stimulate initiative of teachers and students to participate in subject competitions. Various platforms should be set up and the investment of funds should be increased to promote implementation of undergraduate subject competition activities and thus further improve students' ability of innovation and practice.
