Abstract:
Training of English Majors should strengthen students' innovative spirit and research-based learning ability. Professional English teaching should transform from focusing on students' language ability to using language ability as the basis to cultivate and develop academic research capabilities. In the teaching practice, through setting up research-based learning tasks, strengthen the management of research-based learning process, guide students to carry out research-based learning, and urge students to treat their knowledge with research, exploration, and criticism in their learning, and cultivate research awareness and innovation.
