Abstract: Anhui University of Technology has been 60 years old since it started as an iron and steel school. Its establishment of undergraduate education is in step with the 40-year reform and opening up. It is based on the co-construction of provinces and ministries, the political construction of school and running school thriftily. Anhui University of Technology has always been focusing on running undergraduate education, and has taken a path of undergraduate-oriented, student-oriented and learning-oriented development. With a clean and righteous atmosphere, its reputation keeps increasing. In order to adapt to the situation, the level of running the school has been updated; the scale of the school has been expanding; the disciplines and majors have been expanded, thus forming a distinct school-running characteristic of deepening educational reform and cultivating innovative talents. To plan for the future, we should lead by international vision, form a new mode of running schools in China, integrate into the tide of reform, and create a new world for the university in the future.
