Abstract:
Xin'an physicians attach great importance to the collation and study of traditional Chinese medicine classics. Their achievements mainly focus on annotations, revisions and thematic discussions on classification. On the basis of medical theory, Wu Kun comprehensively used many traditional exegetical methods to annotate the scriptures in
Wu's notes, such as explaining words, marking pronunciation, interpreting literary meaning, and analyzing the title. His annotations are innovative in content, which not only make textual research and revise previous annotations, but also collect evidence in many ways, inherit the achievements of predecessors and clarify the tenet by combining medical knowledge with literary theory.
