Abstract: In order to reform the teaching of fundamentals of computer application course in higher vocational colleges, it is necessary to implement student-centered educational idea, explore reform path from teaching mode, teaching content, practice and evaluation method, stimulate students' interest in learning, and cultivate students' ability of self-learning, so as to realize the transformation from emphasizing how teachers teach to inspiring students how to learn.
