Abstract: It is necessary for colleges and universities of science and engineering to break through from wrong ideas and realize the importance of writing courses. Colleges and universities should follow the principles of being practical, advancing gradually in due order and working in cooperation with a due division of labour to build a new curriculum system of Chinese writing for science and engineering college students.
