Abstract:
Article 111 of the current
General Principles of Civil Law in China uses the concept of "personal information" for the first time, confirming that personal information is protected by law, but the regulations are too general and the operability is not strong, which needs to be further clarified and detailed. In China's civil legislation, the rights and interests of personal information should be protected by clarifying the concept of the personal information right, defining the behavioral boundaries of obligors, and clarifying the protection methods of the personal information right.
