Abstract: Public art education in colleges and universities is an important way to implement quality-oriented education and aesthetic education. At present, the popularization and development of public art education in colleges and universities are relatively slow and lagging behind, and the art practice ability of college students needs to be improved. Colleges and universities should improve the comprehensive ability of teachers, stimulate the art interest of college students; establish the curriculum system of public art education, focus on teaching reform, and improve the assessment system of public art courses; strengthen the connection between colleges and art circles as well as improve the level of campus art activities.
