Abstract: Basketball culture is a branch of sports culture, which contains team spirit, fighting spirit, the quality of fortitudeand so on, which have great significance to students’ growth. At present, the teaching method of basketball in colleges and universities is single, the assessment method is lack of scientific rationality, and the education of basketball culture is ignored. We should change our ideas, attach importance to basketball culture, create new teaching methods and diversify teaching methods.
