Abstract: Using Huangmei opera to perform western classic drama can not only enrich the performance materials of Huangmei opera, but also help to explore a new way of inheriting the aesthetic essence of Huangmei opera and promote its spread overseas. In order to well perform western classic drama by using Huangmei opera under the background of opera "going out", it is necessary to summarize the previous experience of performing, learn from the successful cases of other operas, do a good job of foreign language compilation to strengthen the script construction, seek for the full cooperation between Huangmei opera artists, and strengthen overseas publicity and training, etc.
