Abstract: Ideological and political theory course is an important part of ideological and political work in colleges and universities, which is the main channel of Marxist theory education for college students. Due to the limited conditions and insufficient educational resources, application-oriented undergraduate colleges and universities have some shortcomings in the teaching of ideological and political theory course. It is necessary to change teaching concept, strengthen the construction of teaching staff, enrich teaching resources according to local conditions, and improve the teaching effect of ideological and political theory course in application-oriented undergraduate colleges and universities.
