Abstract: The functional orientation of school education depends on the tasks and requirements of social development. School education should serve the people, which is the basic connotation of China's education policy. The function of serving the people is that schools should be based on education, run a satisfying education and improve the happiness of the whole people. To promote the full play of school education's function of serving the people, it is necessary to adhere to the public welfare nature of education, further improve the national education system, and comprehensively implement quality education.
