Abstract: Continuing education in local colleges and universities is responsible for serving the regional economic and social development. The supply side reform of the economy can provide a good reference for improving the quality of personnel training in continuing education. There are some problems in the continuing education of local colleges and universities, such as the imbalance of supply structure, the disharmony of supply content and demand, and the low flexibility of supply. The supply side reform can be carried out in the continuing education of local colleges and universities, which can provide strong support for improving the quality of continuing education talents cultivation in local colleges and universities by optimizing the orientation and specialty setting, increasing the supply, improving the curriculum system, and strengthening the supply of practical resources.
