Abstract: The retrieval and writing course of material forming and control specialty is to cultivate students' ability of consulting, retrieving, collecting and summarizing the important literature and thesis of their disciplines. Under the background of engineering professional accreditation, the teaching of retrieval and writing course should be practice-oriented, update the content, closely combine with the actual needs of students, improve the flexibility of teaching, and perfect the assessment mode, so as to improve the students' ability of scientific paper retrieval and writing.
