Abstract: Marxist theory discipline has developed rapidly since its establishment. The scale and quality of talent cultivation are continuously improving, but there are still some problems, such as structural defects in the quality of students, unbalanced development of discipline, lax quality control of cultivation, and insufficient attention to the improvement of political quality. Colleges and universities should take the improvement of training quality as the basis of talent cultivation and the construction of teachers as the guarantee of high-quality talent cultivation, put the improvement of political quality in the core position of talent cultivation, take the enhancement of innovation ability as the primary task of talent training, continue to improve the talent cultivation system of Marxist theory, so as to constantly improve the quality of talent cultivation.
