Abstract:
Accurately grasping the heterogeneous characteristics of the new generation of migrant workers is a prerequisite for rational analysis of their public cultural service utilization. Using research data from Anhui, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang provinces, a binary logistic model was developed based on factor analysis to explore the influential factors affecting the utilization of public cultural services by new generation migrant workers. The results show that personal factors (age, marriage, education), economic factors (annual family income, average monthly salary), family factors (number of people living together, number of children) and cognitive factors (degree of understanding and channels of understanding) have significant effects on the utilization of public cultural services by new generation migrant workers. The degree of influence shows a certain order. Comparing with non-new generation migrant workers, the degree of utilization of public cultural services by new generation migrant workers is lower than that of non-new generation migrant workers.
