Abstract: The music of Huangmei opera after the 1980s adheres to the originality based on the programmatic nature. In the composition of Huangmei opera music, it inherits the musical form characteristics of each traditional Huangmei opera qupai and banqiang. The accompaniment of Huangmei opera uses modern musical elements, and the means of musical expression has been greatly enriched on the basis of inherited tradition. The singing form is diversified. The main characters in the play usually have several independent singing parts in Anqing dialect. The singing is bright and simple, the rhythm is delicate and lyrical, and the rhythm is smooth, showing the unique singing characteristics and singing style of Huangmei opera.
