Abstract: In the period of epidemic prevention and control, ideological and political theory course has adopted systematic and large-scale online teaching method, which has put forward higher requirements for teaching effectiveness. It is of great practical significance to explore and study the strategies to improve the effectiveness of online teaching. Under the background of normalization of epidemic prevention and control, teachers of ideological and political theory course should adapt to the situation of epidemic prevention and control, and design the whole teaching scheme of online teaching according to the characteristics of online teaching and students' ideological reality, so as to effectively improve the teaching effectiveness.
