Abstract:
Taking several tourism maps with space-time narrative characteristics as examples, this paper analyzes the relationship between tourism map design and narrative. Through the exploration of the time dimensions of the spatial art of the image and the text in the tourism map, more possibilities of the tourism map design in the creation of the space-time dimensions of the narrative are extended. It also discusses how to construct the space-time dimensions of narrative in tourism map from two aspects of scene design and event design. Finally, according to the route, decoration and theme of the tourist map, the narrative design method representing the time flow and narrative process in the spatial dimension of the map is proposed, in order to provide reference for the narrative design of the tourist map.
