Abstract:
Employees are an important element of an enterprise, and their creativity has become a key factor affecting enterprise innovation. Based on goal-oriented theory and social cognition theory, this paper explores the influence mechanism of stimulating employees' creativity from the intrinsic motivation and situational conditions that stimulate employees’ creativity. The empirical research results show that performance approach goal orientation positively affects employee creativity; creativity self-efficacy partially mediates the effect of performance goal orientation on employee creativity; leadership support positively moderates the impact of performance approach goal orientation on employee creativity; leadership support negatively moderates performance avoidance the effect of goal orientation on employee creativity.
