Abstract:
The novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic has given rise to a conceptual system of emergency language services, and post-editing has become an important part of emergency translation services thanks to its many advantages such as high efficiency, low cost and quality assurance, which should be given more attention. After the literature review, it is found that the connotation of post-editing needs to be further expanded, paying attention to the selection of translation tools, and the translation quality assessment before post-editing. According to different texts, rapid and complete post-editing strategies should be adopted, the translator competence and translation rate both should be improved, the online translation management systems should be used and the corpus should be established and expanded.
