Abstract: Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Xi Jinping, focusing on the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, rooting in outstanding traditional Chinese culture, persists and develops Marxist family view, absorbs the revolutionary red family style, pays close attention to the challenges posed by family development and community-level social governance. Xi Jinping made an important discussion on what kind of family to construct in the new era, how to build family and who should be the main body of home construction, and expounds the connotation and essence of family construction in the new era, such as “patriotism and love of family, harmonious family relationship, upward and good family virtues, jointly built and shared family pursuit”, characterized by broad vision, strong awareness of problems and outstanding practical characteristics.
