Abstract: In the process of urbanization and the construction of beautiful villages, the protection and renewal of historical and cultural relics has always been a prominent focus in the reconstruction and construction of ancient towns. With Yun Cao town as research object, from the perspective of cultural gene, this paper sorts the genetic pedigree chart of Yun Cao town, explores the basic architectural space texture protection and the basic cultural gene renewal.
