Abstract: It is an important content of the ideological and political education in colleges to improve college students' sense of red cultural identity under the digital background. At present, Chinese college students' sense of identity to red culture is not high, and there is difference and imbalance due to the difference of factors such as school, major and region. Colleges should pay more attention to red culture communication in ideological and political education, help students improve their red culture literacy, optimize the environment for college red culture communication with the help of digital network, and enhance students' sense of identity to red culture from the dual perspectives of theoretical teaching and practical activities.
