Abstract: Specialization is the basic unit of talent cultivation, and the metal materials engineering program of Anhui University of Technology was approved as a first-class specialty construction site in Anhui Province in 2019. In recent years, in view of first-class professional requirements, through strengthening the top-level design of talent cultivation, it has constantly reformed the teaching methods and contents, expanded the experimental and practical training teaching bases and resources, strengthened the ideological and political education and mental health education, stressed the construction of the faculty, and emphasized the institutionalization of teaching management. Finally, it has improved the professional level and talent cultivation capacity.
