Abstract: The Long March is a great initiative of the Communist Party of China. The great spirit of the Long March is to always firmly uphold revolutionary ideals and beliefs, strive for self-improvement, adhere to independence, unity and cooperation, and share weal and woe with the people. Integrating the spirit of the Long March into the ideological and political education of university students can lead them to be firm in their ideals and beliefs, and to be ideal strivers, which can also educate them to learn consciously and actively, to be capable doers, and to guide them to take responsibility and to be responsible pioneers.
