Abstract: Strengthening the safety management of university laboratories is an important guarantee for preventing risks and hidden dangers, building a firm safety line of defense and building a safe campus. At present, there are still many problems in the safety management of university laboratories, such as unsound implementation mechanism of safety responsibility, imperfect safety system and operating procedures, and insufficient in-depth safety education and training. Colleges and universities should establish a safe production responsibility system, implement safety management responsibilities, strengthen laboratory safety management, timely eliminate potential safety hazards, enhance safety education, strictly implement the safety access mechanism, formulate emergency plans and strengthen accident response capabilities.
