Abstract: In order to improve the achievement of course goals and ameliorate the shortcomings in the traditional teaching mode of mechanical principle, the “online + offline” hybrid teaching mode is introduced into the teaching of this courses. Through the design and implementation of online and offline teaching content, the reform of assessment methods upon the new teaching mode, as well as the organic combination of online teaching based on theoretical knowledge and heuristic offline teaching oriented to problems and cases can be realized. The aim is to fully stimulate students' interest in learning, empower them as active learners, and enhance the effectiveness of course teaching.
