Abstract:
Guided by effective teaching theories, this study integrates the BOPPPS model with teaching tools on the SuperStar platform to construct a novel instructional model for college English listening and speaking courses that combines the BOPPPS framework with the functionalities of the SuperStar platform. Leveraging this model, an instructional innovation and practice were implemented in the context of the “College English” course. The results demonstrate that this new teaching mode effectively enhances the listening and speaking proficiency levels of the students.
