Abstract: The Great Party Spirit is the source of the spirit of the Communist Party of China (CPC), which contains the ideals and beliefs of the communists, their mission and commitment, the spirit of struggle and the sentiment of the people, and provides valuable teaching resources for the Civic and Political Science courses in colleges and universities in the new era. To promote the great party spirit into the ideological and political courses in colleges and universities, it is not only the urgent need for colleges and universities to implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education, but also an inevitable requirement to vigorously promote the great party spirit, which is conducive to guiding college students to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, planting a sense of national sentiment among college students, and motivating college students to consciously take up the mission and be courageous to struggle. In the new era, in order to organically integrate the spirit of the great party into the ideological and political courses in colleges and universities, it is necessary to insist on the integration of the spirit of the great party with the teaching of the curriculum, practical activities, and cyberspace, and to give full play to the powerful nurturing value of the spirit of the great party.
