Abstract:
Teaching competence constitutes the core and focus of talent cultivation in Chinese international education programs. Higher education institutions should continuously strengthen students’ learning consciousness and foster innovative pedagogical philosophies, driving the research on student-centered talent development models oriented towards enhancing teaching abilities. Within the framework of the KSC Model, educators center on students, adopting an “Innovation Community of Practice” as the organizational form, and grounding their approach in theories of “Discovery Learning” and “Knowledge Management”. They construct a learning platform through stages involving theoretical construction, case-based learning, classroom simulation, and reflective evaluation, among other experiential processes. This process emphasizes the cultivation of reflective awareness and effectively assists students in developing innovative pedagogical concepts while acquiring professional competencies benchmarked against the “5C” standards, ultimately enhancing individual teaching capabilities.
