Abstract:
This paper investigates the current state of discipline-oriented services in local undergraduate libraries within general higher education institutions in Anhui Province. It analyzes the principal issues encountered and proposes pathways for implementing discipline services in such libraries under the backdrop of first-class undergraduate program construction. These include proactive promotion and dissemination of discipline services, accurately identifying subject-specific service areas, strengthening the development of subject librarian teams, establishing related disciplinary service systems, and innovating service content tailored to different user groups.
