Abstract:
Using panel data from 30 provinces from 2011 to 2021, with economic development level as the threshold variable, this study empirically examines the influence of agricultural informatization on the integration of the three industries in rural areas. The research finds that the improvement of agricultural informatization level has a significant promoting effect on the development of the integration of the three industries in rural areas, especially in non-major grain-producing areas, but this promoting effect is subject to conditional limitations. Taking the economic development level as the threshold variable, the influence of agricultural informatization on the integration of the three industries in rural areas varies at different economic development levels. When the threshold value is less than 1.214, the improvement of agricultural informatization significantly affects the development of the integration of the three industries in rural areas, and the coefficient is positive, indicating that with the increase of economic development level, the improvement of agricultural informatization level is conducive to promoting the development of the integration of the three industries in rural areas. However, when the threshold value is higher than 1.214, the improvement of agricultural informatization no longer significantly affects the development of the integration of the three industries in rural areas, and the coefficient is negative.
